Nokia 6290: What's in the box?
The Nokia 6290 is now on sale in some territories, and here are some pictures of the final production model.
Despite its small size and feature-phone marketing, the 6290 is a full S60 3rd Edition (Feature Pack 1) smartphone with many multimedia features: a 2 megapixel camera (including flash), stereo speakers, 3G, a second camera for videophone calls and external music controls.
The version here is the European sim-free one. If you buy in a different region, or through a phone network operator, you may get a different sales package.
Here's the box!
Here's what you get in the box. Please note your sales package may vary.
Apologies for the cardboard background by the way.
The small panels along the left hand side are, from top to bottom: hotswap microSD memory card slot, Push-To-Talk button, nothing at all, and one of the stereo speakers.
Shiny, isn't it? The panels along the right hand side are, from top to bottom: USB port, volume/selection control, infrared port, and the other stereo speaker. The square above the keypad is the light meter, and the square above the screen is the videophone camera.
Here's the external screen switched on. The music player and radio can be activated and operated entirely with the three external soft keys and the volume/selection control on the right hand side of the phone.
