MobyMemory.com have today released their new 2GB MMC memory cards to the UK and European market, compatible with all recent MMC-slot Nokia mobiles, such as the Nokia 6600, Nokia N-Gage/QD, Nokia 9500. Other formats, such as RS-MMC are expected to follow in time, with larger sized DV RS-MMC also coming soon.

The latest Canalys figures reveal that Nokia shipped almost 5 million smartphones in Q4 2004. Symbian OS now accounts for 53% of the mobile device market (up from 50% last quarter) thanks to sales from Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Fujitsu, Motorola, Siemens, Sendo, Panasonic and Benq.
