Peters Place have released a new game. EChess is the port of Crafty (open source chess engine) and WinBoard (open source chess frontend) for the the SonyEricsson P800 (Symbian OS version 7). It can work with the flip open or closed.
riksa has posted to the forums a beta of a new game for the P800. Gridlock is a puzzle game where you move blocks around trying to get them out of a box (blocks = cars!).
Opera for the P800 will be available as a free download from the first day of the 3GSM conference in Cannes. AAS will have a preview of the browser in the next few days.
Bitween has just released their famous remote control port for the p800! The program allows you to control your PC from your P800 by any connection. A trial can be downloaded fromBitween's website.
Mobile Othello is a game of Othello (also known as Reversi) for the P800 which has been released as freeware by Markus Halttunen. You can play a human opponent or against the P800. More details here.
JShooter800 is a fun arcade style game. The game can be controlled via the Stylus or the Scroller. With sounds and powerups this game will keep you busy. The game can be purchased and the demo downloaded via Handango.
Quake on your P800. Its sounds like a dream but it will be true. There is a port of Quake for the P800 under development. It is in early Alpha stage but you can see some screenshots here.
Putty is a free SSH client for the P800. It is a port of the well known 9210 version. It is still under development, input being the issue. However take a closer look here.
Malcolm Bryant and FreEPOC have updated jABP. jABP is a personal finance program which enables you to manage your finances on your P800 and Nokia 9210. You can set up unlimited accounts, categories, standing orders and transactions, as well as showing graphs of your spending patterns, redicting future balances etc. The program is compatible with Microsoft Money and Intuit Quicken. This release fixes a few bugs from the previous version.
Great Swedish Software have released their second program for the P800. Called Safe, the program is designed for storing saftely sensitive or private data on your P800. The demo can be downloaded and program bought via Handango.
Tommy Tonteri has released in beta form SymIRC, an IRC client written in Personal Java for the Sony Ericsson P800. The software is currently still being tested, but you an early release version here.
Malcom Bryant via FrEPOC has released jText. jText is a simple text editor for the P800 written in Personal Java. It will enable you to create and edit ASCII files directly on your P800.
