Handy Book software for Sony Ericsson P800 uses the most popular "Palm DOC" format of electronic books. This format allows reading ebooks in compressed form to save memory space on your phone. You can also read common Plain text files or even Plain text files inside Zip archives.

Splash Data have released a port of their popular image viewer for the P800. SplashPhoto is an image viewer and photo catalog. With the desktop companion software photos can also be synced between your P800 and PC.
The upcoming BenQ P30 will have Picsel's software embedded into into it. As The Register reports it enables fluid file viewing. Picsel themselves describe the technology as a universal multimedia content engine.
Opera has released an updated to its browser for the P800. Improvements include the ability to zoom in SSR mode, long click functionality (tap and hold to access different functions), and several technical fixes.
This Register article says that the A920 is selling by the bucket load. So finally some good news for 3. The article also suggests that a smaller A925 succesor is already in development.
