Nokia have just unveiled a new first party virtual pet simulator, Creebies, for the upcoming Next Gen N-Gage platform. To find out more, head on over to All About N-Gage. Also noteworthy in the press release is that Nokia describes N-Gage as available for "Nokia Nseries and other S60 3rd Edition devices", although they haven't yet revealed exactly which non-Nseries models will support the platform.
Ah yes, Krisse does like to roundup Christmas/wintery games each year, with a couple of new entrants this time round. There are games for all Symbian platforms, most of them are free, and at the very least they should keep you going until Nokia decides to throw the switch on their N-Gage store...
After the bally-hoo over a leaked early trailer, Nokia has now published an interview with the developers of the upcoming N-Gage Star Wars game, along with the proper trailer and the official screenshots. Read more over at All About N-Gage.
In the second part of a Friday game double-bill, Attila Katona reviews Robo, also for (nearly) every Symbian OS platform known to man. It's a level-based puzzler in isometric 3D and Robo is really rather good in its cute, pixellated way.
It's been around for a while for S60 and UIQ (in all varieties), but Krisse brings us a detailed review of scrolling shoot 'em up Blazar in the modern age. That'll be the 'we're all kicking our heels, seeing what else is out there, waiting for N-Gage to be properly available' age, then....

To find out what it was, as well as the full results with a touch of analysis, click here...
Krisse has been reviewing arcade puzzler Li-Nuggz, a colourful and dynamic game for all Symbian platforms except UIQ 2. Verdict? Plenty of playability and great design, but you might want to turn down the sound effect volume!
If it's nearly Christmas then it must be time for an icy puzzler. Right on cue come Herocraft with Snow Lines, and our very own Attila Katona has been playing it for days to bring you a detailed review. Not that one is needed, to be honest, it's a great game, you already know how to play it and there's a trial version for every platform under the sun....
Yes, you know all about S60 games and you know about the upcoming N-Gage titles, but what about all those games tucked away in publisher folders inside your Download! application? Medal of Honour, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07, etc? In the interests of experimentation, I bought a batch and here report back on J2ME games via Download! Your comments welcome, as always!
Guest writer Attila Katona is something of a Sudoku nut, having survived the initial public craze and come out the other end still addicted. So when he raves about a new Sudoku game/engine, it's worth listening up. Here's his detailed write-up of the brand new Sudoku Time.
If you don't know what a 'Flurky' is then head for Krisse's great review of a great game. Flurkies is a platform puzzler and aside from a few colour oddities comes up trumps in almost every department. And the game is available for all S60 and UIQ platforms, so what are you waiting for?
