DataViz have announced the availability of the first beta of version 3 of RoadSync for S60 3rd Edition devices which includes support for Microsoft Exchange 2007. Based on the Exchange Server ActiveSync® protocol licensed directly from Microsoft, RoadSync provides secure, wireless and direct push synchronization of corporate e-mail, attachments, calendar and contacts.

Quickoffice today announced the release of the new versionof its office suite for Symbian phone - Quickoffice 3.1. The new version now supports all S60 3rd Edition devices such as the E61, N73, N80 and N91. The viewer component of the program is provided for free. The major new feature is the addition of the Quickmanager component which allows the download and purchase, in application, of program updates and new mobile applications.

A demo of Nokia's upcoming next gen game System Rush Evolution is now available for download from the N93 software support page. It will install and run on other S60 3rd Edition phones, not just the N93. Unfortunately it's unplayably slow on the E61 I tested it on, presumably because the E61 doesn't have the N93's 3D graphics accelerator chip. If that's the case, then we can probably expect a slew of new 3D-accelerated S60 models to appear early next year in time for the launch of Nokia's Next Gen games.
