Zi Corporation's Zi Predictive Text Suite for Series 60 is available at no cost for a limited time. The suite contains both eZiText (for predictive text entry) and eZiTap (multitap entry) and both products are aimed at speeding up data entry. You can use the code AAE45F3 in our Handango store which will give a full discount off the $19.95 price. The code will work for the main program (English), and the Swedish, Spannish, French and German dictionaries. The code will expire in 2 weeks.

All seems to work fine for English version - One thing to watch out for though: Make sure you make a note of the emailed reg code stored outside of the phone and carry it about separately for the first couple of days after you install. There appears to be no option to enter the reg code until after the trial period expires - and when it does, you will be locked out of your phone until you enter it. I couldn't even enter my Nokia unlock code without it interfering - Goodness knows what you are supposed to do if you don't have the code...
On the plus side though, it's a nice system and apart from punctuation, which I'm still getting the hang of, it's a nice, fast system. Pretty good - and free. Get in there quick! :)

Anyone have problems with the registration code not working? When I enter the registration number (5 digits), I get "registration code invalid.

dthree - you might want to check you entered your IMEI code correctly when you bought the software.

Same with the Swedish dictionary code. It just says it is the wrong code.

I cant seem to get the correct registration code. The main program locks up my phone until I enter it, so I need to uninstall this crap until Zi gets their act together. (I did enter the correct IMEI) Has anyone acctually got the right code?

This product does not work, given the registration codes from Zi. Zi has been made aware of this fact, but for some reason choose to ignore the problem.
I have written four mails to them over the last week and have yet to see a reply. Support is not to be expected from them is the only conclusion to be drawn from this fact.
After the trial period ends (four days), the program will locks ALL text functions on your phone (including pin-code entering) untill you register or uninstall their program (I am not kidding). That means that if you shut your phone off after ther trial period, you will not be able to enter your pin! That also means you have no way of uninstalling the program, and in effect renders you phone useless.
The program in combination with the registration code "malfunction" and the "no way of getting the correct code from the manufacturer" you can easily campare this with installing a virus on your phone.
Untill Zi confirms they have corrected the malfunction, DO NOT INSTALL THIS SOFTWARE ON YOUR PHONE!

Oh man, yesterday I turned off my phone and now I can't enter my pin, I can't use my phone!!!! just like you said... If I'd read this before!!!
And now what???? I emailed them but got no reply, ZiCorp where are you???
Allaboutsymbian, Rafe, can't you do anything?? please, I tried to remove the memory card but It seems I installed the prog in the phone memory...
I don't want to format my phone as I have important information in it, so please any help would be VERY appreciated

I'll look into to it. However I can only suggest you try again with any registration code you have (it worked for others). Zi Corp will get back to you.
You might also trying holding down the pencil key as you switch on as this will boot the phone in safe mode (and may well stop EziTxt from running). Obviously once into the phone uninstall the program.

I had the same problem. I had to reboot the phone, press menu, go to the Zi loader, run the program, disable Zi, and exit the program. Now my phone works again.

Is there a certain amount of mail you want before you find it appropriate to reply? I have written you six times directly and Handango support have written four times on my account, over the last few weeks, yet you choose not to respond.
Would you like to make some sort of prediction as to how long such a reply is likely to take?
Does the company even exist? As far as i can tell it might as well be a spam-harvesting operation :)
OK seriously, have ANYONE actually gotten a response from Zi?

I installed Zi Loader on my NOKIA N72 and I was using this programm for couple days.. And then decided to uninstall that programm... So, I did uninstall the programm! And after I restarted my cellphone I have no text input at all... NO T9 NO Abc - nothing... Just digits, so i can't type sms with digits, no one seems to understand my writings with digits.... After that i installed same Zi Loader on my cellphone and it does not work right now.. "Feature is not supported"!!! Does anyone know hot to get back my original software! I need my Abc and ABC and abc and T9.. :(((((( Please anyone help! I've send a letter to Zi corp - no answer sofar.. we'll see... Please Help me to bring it back to life!

I got trapped too, so I installed KeyStick, you can get it at
www.n-e-ware.com, this programs enters text using the joystick, and had an option to select in between KeyStick, ziText (that is still listed) and the needed T9, after you select T9, phone will be back to normal.
