In all the rush of innovation and new devices, we missed the announcement by F-Secure that they are the first anti-virus company to support S60 5th Edition. Their Mobile Security 5 product is now available via F-Secure or Nokia Download, if you feel the need for some extra strength protection.

While the application will give peace of mind to IT Works and those new to the smartphone world (especially those from a Windows background), the considered view of All About Symbian is that the security features in Symbian OS, along with sensible rules such as “don't download warez” and “don't install anything you don't recognise” will be more than enough to protect your phone.
