The Nokia 5800 is to make its debut in Singapore soon with Nokia's all-you-can-eat "Comes With Music" service built-in, which allows unlimited downloads from the Nokia Music Store for one year. In related news, the Nokia Music Store has just opened up branches in Switzerland and in Austria. The Nokia Music Store is now available in 15 countries.

For the Comes with Music launch in Singapore there will be six Comes with Music devices: Nokia 5800 Xpress Music, Nokia 5320 Xpress Music, Nokia 5220 Xpress Music (Series 40), Nokia N96, Nokia N85 and Nokia N79. This will be the first time that Comes with Music has been available on the 5800, 5320, N95 and N79. It's likely that these handsets will also be made available in other Comes with Music countries in due course.

"Comes With Music sets a truly industry-leading precedent in consumer value and convenience that others are already following. Especially in these trying economic times, music lovers can stay connected to the music they like, yet no longer worry about the cost of purchasing music by single tracks or album. The freedom and simplicity of the service is unparalleled. Comes With Music is revolutionary simply because all your downloaded music is yours to keep", said Vlasta Berka, General Manager, Nokia Singapore, Malaysia & Brunei.

"Nokia Comes With Music is also coming to Singapore through a wide and popular device range across different consumer segments covering various price points, because at Nokia, our vision is to connect people to the music they want, anytime and anywhere", he said.

The Nokia Music Store in Austria will charge 1 Euro per track and 10 Euro per album, in Switzerland it will be 1.50 CHF per track and 15 CHF per album. There are 5 million tracks available from both major and independent labels.

"With the launch of the Nokia Music Store, Nokia aims to make available to all Austrian and Swiss users of all ages, the music that they want at any moment they want, with all the facilities that mobility permits nowadays," says Michael Lachsteiner, Music Service Manager, Nokia Austria.

"The Nokia Music Store is a user-friendly innovation of the market leader. From this partnership the music industry expects a boost in the download segment - in and outside of Austria and Switzerland," comments Hannes Eder, Managing Director Universal Music Austria.

Ivo Sacci, managing Director at Universal Music Switzerland and president of IFPI Switzerland adds, "The Nokia Music Store will support growth in the digital music market."
