Yup, BBC iPlayer just appeared in Download! for UK users of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Some screens below the break. Technically it's only a streaming solution, though. Despite prompts from the widget to 'Save' a file after watching, you're not saving the video stream itself. A little messy. Comments welcome!

Also messy is that when people use the S60 multitasking menu to switch back to BBC iPlayer, they only get the widget launcher, not the instance of Web that's actually hosting the video. So then they tap on 'Relaunch' and end up with two or more copies of Web running iPlayer all running at the same time. Messy, messy, messy.

Still, at least the solution works and the picture and audio quality is very, very good indeed. Especially on the 5800's wide screen.
