Australian developer DreamSpring have two announcements at today's Symbian Smartphone Show. The popular UIQ application DreamLife - an integrated activity manager providing additional integration between the core PIM databases in one single application – will be available on S60 early in 2009. They are also launching Riyala, a fully integrated suite of PIM services designed to sit alongside DreamLife.
Riyala will initially offer three services: Dossier (A documents and media manager that will keep the users contents in the 'online cloud; and accessible from a number of devices, including your mobile); Transitions (An aide to your calendar and diary management, including filters to add in travel time, late alerts to other participants of the meeting); and Sync (talking to major platforms using CalDAV technologies).
“When we launched DreamLife last year, [we] said it's the first step in fulfilling our vision of a life management application,” says Malcolm Lithgow, MD of DeamSpring. “This year we're introducing Riyala, our next step in bringing this vision into reality.”
More info on DreamLife and Riyala can be found on the DreamSpring website.
