Firmware update service temporarily closed down for 6220

Published by Tzer2 at 23:57 UTC, August 23rd 2008

According to their official website, Nokia's firmware update service is currently unavailable for the 6220 Classic, so you can't update that phone's firmware for the moment. Support will apparently be restored ASAP but they haven't said when that will be. (via S60inside)

I'm wondering whether all is well with the 6220, as it STILL hasn't been released here in Finland, at least not on any large scale. We normally get Nokia stuff before anywhere else, so this is very unusual.

Hum... in Switzerland it's not released too, comes at the end of this months (the shop said "firmware problems....") I don't know because it's released in other countries. For Finland it's very strange...

My 6220 still does not receive pictures via mms in the correct size, so hoping that they get that sorted in the firmware update!
