How to: Print photos using PictBridge

PictBridge compatibility is something often forgotten in Nokia's Nseries smartphones - in a real world example, I show how it works. Now you can print photos directly and quickly, wherever you are in the world!

of course you can always show that part directly from the phone screen without need for printing.

A very handy feature indeed! Would work well for walk in and print at the studios too!

PS - Make a proper use of your 2.8" screen steve! Save paper! You could have also recorded a video of the part for a 3D view of the sparepart!

Generally I just show the pict on the screen, that's enough for most people to see what I need. It's not iPhone large, but large enough.

Still the demo is nice and there are plenty of other applications.

But if I'd used just the screen, I wouldn't have been able to write this tutorial! [grin]

Also, for the sort of 'how do I change it?' type question I was planning on asking, I wanted something non-intimidating.....

PictBridge is a very nice feature indeed, the only problem is finding a compatible printer, at least for me.

Just tried this with my v13 Orange N95 and while I can print using PictBridge it does not allow me to change the number of pictures to a page. So, unfortunately, no thumbnail prints just fullsize.

But maybe it is just me? Anyone else?
