One component of Nokia's Ovi which hasn't had quite so much attention is Sync. This just popped up on the main Ovi toolbar, trailing what Sync will offer. See below for the details.

With Zyb, Mobical and GooSync all offering SyncML synchronisation of the same data, Ovi Sync will have some competition when it goes live. On the other hand, the three solutions just mentioned are still comparatively niche products, so there's plenty of room for Ovi Sync to get some traction.

Let's hope we can use one of our existing Ovi logins (e.g. Share) to work Sync - I'd hate to have to create yet another login and password....
