You've got to love all the cool widgets and utilities coming out of Nokia Beta Labs. They just announced the availability of Nokia Text Messenger, a Windows Vista desktop gadget to show your received text messages and let you send new ones.

2 bugs so far ...
If you clear all your messages out of your inbox, it kindly removes the create new message button. To be able to send a new message you have to have a message in your inbox.
Also the To: field can do some rather strange things when matching with your phone book entries.
Apart from that - wonderful!!!!!!!
Not tried it on 64 bit for the poster above sorry.

Something similar already exists in the PCSuite latest version i.e. 6.85. It loads the last 5 messages by default from a connected phone on the standby screen of PC suite. And replying, creating new message and forwarding are possible too. But somehow messages sent using this do not appear in the sent messages folder of the phone.
Whats different in this app?
