Furthermore, this statement doesn't seem to be correct :
"Some areas of the UI on the N82 have slightly less information displayed on screen than the N95 - 5 versus 6 Active Idle shortcuts and 5 versus 6 menu list items (e.g. in Gallery) are good examples."
since the images right below it show the N82 with 6 Active Idle shortcuts (not 5). Perhaps you meant, "6 versus 7", or did I misunderstand something?

Sorry guys - this was my fault. Apologies that these mistakes slipped through, we do our best, but these things happen (as Steve says we generally try and turn things around quite quickly - possibly a lesson in there - but producing fresh original content day in day out does take time).
I made some corrections. You were right about the number if icons. It is 6 vs 7 and 5 vs 6 respectively. I've also tried to clarify the other points too (i.e. there's generally less keypad space on candy bars because of the attributes of the form factor).

My N95 already has this. So it isn't entirely unique to the N82.

Hi. Is it true that the n82 has navi wheel hardware but nokia have disabled this. I know that originally the phone should have had one and nokia released videos showing it. Is it possible that it could be enabled with a software update. Has anyone taken apart an n82 and spotted the hardware.

For all the good reviews the camera on this phone has gotten, the camera settings (white balance, EV, ISO, flash always on/off, etc.) revert to default once you close the camera.
Who would buy a digital camera that did that? Of course this unit is a phone, not a camera, but at this level of sophistication (xenon flash, lens cover, autofocus, all the options available albeit temporarily) it is a killjoy not to be able to control the camera effectively.
