N95 8GB to hit the USA

As you know, we don't normally run with rumours on AAS, but this one's got enough weight behind it now to be real. There is apparently going to be a USA-specific version of the black monster that's the Nokia N95 8GB. Evidence so far: MobileCity are now taking preorders and quoting February, and the usually reliable Mark Guim reports that he's checked with an official distributor and been quoted mid January .

This sounds like great news. Maybe Nokia is finally getting serious about the US market, and won't just let Apple dominate the market. Now if we can just get some S60 devices for the AWS frequencies, and the N82 in AT&T or T-Mobile's 3G frequencies, and a carrier to actually pick up and subsidize the phones...
