Yes it is the Symbian Developer Network Mini-Rubik's Cube. Only 2x2x2 compared to the more tradition 3x3x3 cube, it offers the same fun of scrambling the colours, but with less combinations and is, in theory, a little easier to master than it's older and more popular brother. It might be tough to track down, but is it worth it, and can it be solved? I'm about to find out.
Since the cube was being handed out as is, rather disappointingly, we're unable to bring you an in-depth unboxing of the Symbian Developer Network Mini-Rubik's Cube. However we know Nokia and S60 like using Symbian's stuff in their phones (and they come in shiny boxes) so we eagerly await their implementation. We understand the S60 team are working on an overpowering 4x4x4 version of the cube (sadly incompatible with Nokia Music Store apparently), so perhaps we'll get our hands on an early prototype at Nokia World next month?
Putting on my serious hat, Rafe would also like me to point out that we haven't really reviewed Symbian's MOAP phone... so we're really Nearly All About Symbian (NAAS).
So, the final verdict on the Symbian Developer Network Mini-Rubik's Cube? Nearly as good as the UIQ mints.
