Like many others, I've been on 1 hour 'refresh' on Nokia Software Update for what seems like weeks now. But the Nokia E90 update seems to have arrived and it's installing as I write this. Version number is 7.40.1.2 and [updated] I've listed the main changes below.

• Assisted GPS now present and correct (ten second fix time indoors on a window ledge! - though note that the very first fix will take longer as you're effectively starting from factory-fresh condition
   
• Newer version of Maps, with the 'new' design and various fixes/tweaks, plus support for voice navigation in many more countries
   
• Browser stability is better, it doesn't vanish mysteriously etc.
   
• Miscellaneous bug fixes, though sadly not the '#' bug in Calendar or the Equaliser bug in Music Player 8-(
   
• The guys over on my-symbian say that the FPU is now enabled, so media and calculation intensive applications may, repeat may be faster. Watch this space.

Quickoffice is still the old 3.85 version. Given the bugs that still need fixing and the upcoming Quickoffice 4.1 (allegedly), I'm guessing that there will be another firmware update in a month or two's time.
