Forum Nokia updates Community features

Published by Rafe Blandford at 10:48 UTC, October 30th 2007

On Monday Forum Nokia revealed the new look to the the Community parts of its site. The new section brings together the previously disparate discussion forums, blogs and wiki into a single site. There is a 'lobby' page which summarises the latest updates across these sub areas and adds a personal touch with video and podcasts from Forum Nokia staff.

Forum Nokia are looking for feedback about the new site and our keen to encourage developers to help contribute to the different community elements.

It is very refreshing to see the new site add a personal touch to developer relations and I believe fostering a feeling of community amongst Symbian and S60 developers is a very important element in building a friendly and healthy developer ecosystem. In its early days the Palm OS developer community successfully used this element in creating a level of loyalty that endures to the current day.
