KuneriLite speeds deployment of Flash Lite applications on S60

Published by at

Kuneri today released KuneriLite which is a rapid application toolkit aimed at Flash Lite developers. KuneriLite, which is programmed in Symbian C++, is an extra layer between Flash Lite and the S60 platform which enables extra functionality to be accessed from Flash Lite. KuneriLite also includes a feature to easily create a SIS file for distribution via a Wizard based process.

The idea behind KuneriLite is to enable Flash Lite developers to be able to create more feature rich application on the S60 platform without any Symbian C++ programming knowledge.

KuneriLite functionality is based around an extensible plug in architecture. Default plug-ins include File (managing local storage), Download (store downloaded data), Connect (Bluetooth exchange between devices), Camera, GPS and more.

From the Kuneri website:

KuneriLite is very lightweight and can be easily extended by its plug-in system. Developers can use all plug-ins at once or can use any combination of them in their projects. We provide basic plug-ins considering developers' needs and constantly improving plug-in library.

KuneriLite is totally developer oriented and very easy to use and develop with. KuneriLite comes with KuneriLite Wizard, which makes it simple to deploy KuneriLite projects to target devices, without any worry of creating SIS installation packages. It is also very easy to program with Flash Lite, making developers' life easy.

Flash Lite + KuneriLite = Cost effective, thrilling S60 applications

KuneriLite comes with 3 editions: Basic, Professional and Commercial. Basic edition is free to download and try. Professional edition meant for freeware productions, and also offered free of charge for non-commercial purposes.
