An expert's look at the Nokia N95-3 versus the Apple iPhone

Published by Steve Litchfield at 13:06 UTC, October 10th 2007

Jonathan Greene's writing is always well informed and his latest essay is a direct comparison between the US-spec Nokia N95-3 (the one with all the free RAM) and the Apple iPhone. Jonathan's used each extensively and so is in a good position to sum up the pros and cons.

Nokia N95 all the way for me from those two. iPhone is nice as well but it lags too many features that I need (Good video camera, MMS, games, etc...) I'm using E90 and it even surpasses what N95 can do! Really really happy with my purchase.

That's an interesting item, mostly because he mentions ZoneTag, which looks excellent; can't wait to get outdoors to try it out!

The article is more like somebody trying to sing praises of the iphone but the comments won't hold water due to sheer lack of features on one device. ;)

I did my part of questioning what I felt was 'questionable'.

Does anyone else's IE crash when they follow the link in this article. I have the latest IE.

Neither Opera nor Safari nor Firefox crash following the link.

Yes, mine does as well. Anyone have any ideas?

PopSci also has a pretty good comparison of the two (N95-3/iPhone):

(Apparently, haven't posted enough to post a URL, but if you google

popsci n95 iphone battle royale

you'll find the article.)
