Pranata, the mobile browsing champion

Published by Steve Litchfield at 10:07 BST, September 21st 2007

AAS favourite Antony Pranata (hey, where would we be without his 'Screenshot' utility?) has been busy with some mini features on mobile web browsing. Here's the link love: Mobile browsing with Mowser, Accessing Facebook and Wikipedia on a mobile. Good stuff.

It's a shame the official S60 browser doesn't have one of these reformatting modes. Other S60 browsers like Opera and Netfront had that years ago.

I know they say that it's intended to be a PC-like browser rather than a phone browser, and the rendering of pages in a PC style is indeed useful, but it would be nice to also have the option of viewing them reformatted for a small screen.

Agree. May be they could add an option in the future to view "mobile version" or "PC version".
