Wahay. Ricky has the official scoop on the USA 3G-spec Nokia N95, with redesigned camera housing, larger capacity 1200 mAh battery and shipping with a 1GB microSD card. More details as we get them...

Ok so this is what we've been waiting for. Nokia's killer N95 with US 3G AND better battery life! Not only is the N95 getting a color change (yes the color is black) and HSDPA for the US market, but they have changed from the BL-5F to BL-6F for more battery life. This of course means that the dimensions have changed as well as shown in the image."

Sorry to sound picky, but does this mean the US version doesn't have a lens cover at all?

why do the multimedia keys look a little bloated?
also will it be available unlocked also?

"why do the multimedia keys look a little bloated?"
I think the raised multimedia keys are a VERY good idea. I found the original N95's multimedia keys to be very difficult to press, partly because they were flat, and partly because they were too near the edge of the main bit of the phone.

And more RAM!
I hope we in Europe get the version with the larger battery and more RAM, perhaps the N95i ;)

Removing of the shutter slider ridiculous.
I would still prefer my European standard version than an "improved" n95 without a shutter slider.

Maybe the lens cover switch has been relocated to the side of the phone or maybe they have changed the cover to open automatically when you press the camera button like the latest SE camera phone...

maybe it is just me but the bottom of the phone looks a lil pixelated(near the battery open latch)
and also the camera plate has 2 diff. shades of grey on it.
