In a similar move, though one limited to people in Finland, the Finnish post office now lets you send real postcards with your mobile. A java app on your phone lets you communicate with the post office through the internet, and they will send a physical postcard with your message and choice of picture with the cost going on your phone bill. The postcards cost 1.9 euros to anywhere in the world.

You can download the two-part java app from this site, using your Symbian phone's web browser (no need to enter addresses manually):

You then just follow the instructions, and the app will tell you exactly what to do.

Do the bears know about this ?

"Do the bears know about this ?"

Since they joined the European Union, environmental laws have forbidden Finns from shooting bears, and the bear population has greatly increased in Finland. Maybe this is all a scheme to try and get rid of them by other means... ;-)
