The Fast Track events are spread over two days. The first day consists of sessions broken down into two tracks: technical and commercial with a range of speakers from through out the UIQ ecosystem. The second day is less structured with round tables, developer spotlights and opportunities for one on one meetings. It is hoped that attendees will help shape the pattern and activities of the second day.
There are two Fast Track events in the US next month.
- May 10-11th in Boston, Massachusetts
- May 14-15th in San Francisco, California
At both events there will be speakers from UIQ Technology, Sony Ericsson and Motorola. Other companies speaking at one or both of the events include: Quickoffice, DataViz, Astraware, Penrillian, EMCC, Orange, Handango and m-metrics.
The Fast Track is suitable for both those new to the UIQ platform and for existing UIQ developers and represents a valuable (and unusual) opportunity to meet representatives from both UIQ Technology and its two main licensees at a single event.
There is a $150 registration fee and registration is through the UIQ Developer website.
All About Symbian will be at the Boston leg of Fast Track and we will be reporting back of some of the things we hear and see.
