TV Out demo and Operator Crippling

Thanks to Stefan for pointing me towards a couple of interesting videos. Here the TV Out capabilities of the Nokia N95 are demoed well, watching a video on three different screens in one shot, while here one of the developers of VoIP software demonstrates how Internet telephony is 'missing' on branded/locked versions of the N95.

Is it me, or do Orange seem to go out of their way to piss off their own subscribers each time a new 'must have' Nokia handset is released? I remember outcries about how Orange messed up the N70, the N80... and now the N95 :rolleyes: :icon13:
Someone high up at Orange must surely realise the negative impact this sort of 'modification' has with power users? Seems like they don't know, or more likely don't care.
