Upload Video to YouTube from your phone

Published by at

Shozu, the multimedia upload tool for smartphones, now supports sending videos directly to YouTube, the video sharing service, from your phone. YouTube is now an optioanl destination for your video uploads. Shozu's advantages is that you can upload a multimedia item just once, but send it to multiple destinations.

Previously it was necessary to transfer the video to a PC before uploading via the YouTube wensite. Using Shozu is much simpler process and allows for one click upload to YouTube.

To activate YouTube uploads you must log into your Shozu account and add it as a destination. When you next connect the Shozu application to the Shozu servers the new destination (YouTube) will be added to the Send -> to other menu / dialog.

Other destination sites currently supported by ShoZu include photo and video sharing communities such as Buzznet, Flickr, Kodak EasyShare Gallery, Textamerica and Webshots; personal blog sites such as Blogger, Typepad and Wordpress; any MetaWeblog-enabled blog; and citizen-contributed photo galleries like CNN, the BBC and Scoopt. In addition, images can be sent to any FTP site or to any email address for easy image sharing with family and friends.
