Documents To Go for UIQ 3

Documents To Go , the office suite software, is now available for UIQ 3 phones such as the Sony Ericsson M600i, P990i and W950i. Documents To Go enables the viewing and editing of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint files on your phone. The software costs $49.99, but current Documents To Go users on UIQ 2 devices can upgrade to Documents To Go for UIQ 3 free of charge.
Documents To Go key selling point is its InTact technology which does an excellent job of preserving document formating so that when you round trip (edit a document on the phone and send it back to the PC) all the original format remains in place. In practise this means you can edit documents on your phone without the receipient being aware that you are using your phone. InTact works by 'inserting' edits into the original document so that no information are lost in any conversion process.
Documents To Go will be facing off againt Quickoffice which is a competing office suite that ships with both the Sony Ericsson M600i and P990i. Both companies are expected to continue development of their respective products addding new features an functionality.

If you didn't already own Documents To Go for UIQ and you have a UIQ 3 phone with Quickoffice installed, you can purchase Documents To Go for $29.99.
