WizMy.com, the newly launched UK website that lets users create and build online 3G multimedia web sites optimised for viewing on new generation mobile Internet phones and PC browsers.
The website, was launched in January 06, by media company Future Horizon Solutions Ltd, based in Melksham, Wiltshire, and according to Alistair Pearson (the co-founder of the WizMy.com service), it lets non-technical users without any programming knowledge publish full colour multimedia rich content sites via a simple to use online "site publishing tool". User sites are hosted on WizMy.com servers, categorised and promoted through the services business and personal mobile and web portal directories.
Alistair goes on to say, "We are the first UK service on the internet to offer a full colour mobile web site building service where business and personal users can quickly and easily deploy content rich web sites that can be accessed by the latest 2.5G and 3G colour screen phones plus PCs"
All types of information and multimedia content can be incorporate into each user’s site, such as digital photo’s, 3D Gif animation graphics, plus mobile compatible video and audio files, all of which can be updated in real time via our unique online "site publisher".
User created sites are also equipped to store and publish other information like address books and contact details which can also be accessed either from a PC or a Internet-enabled mobile phone, sites also include features such as an integrated thumbnail gallery builder, integrated MMS inbox, contact email message form, plus private content pages can be created enabling the user to store content that only he or she can access via a built in secure site login.
As one of the newest mobile media services on the net, we expect many people to use the service initially to create personal, community, and recreational fun type sites and services to start with, as this part of service is free of charge for personal user sites. We then anticipate business user groups coming on board to create sites soon after, as businesses are now recognising the need to have a mobile internet presence in addition to a normal web site as a way to reach out to new and existing customers.
