The Curated Symbian Application Store

One of the problems with the Nokia Ovi Store is that the sheer number of (ahem) novelties and other incidental items that get approved means that finding the good stuff isn't easy. What's needed is a storefront that's a hundred times smaller. But has the 1% of content that's really good. This is what I've attempted over on my 3-Lib site in 'The Curated Symbian Application Store'. Hopefully newcomers to Symbian will find it a good time-saver.

Curated Symbian App Store

This first 'cut' at a top 100 Symbian apps was in part crowd sourced over the weekend, I'm sure I'll add other apps in time, but the above should get Symbian newcomers off to a flying start!

Note that the review links all come back to the edited reviews here on All About Symbian and that not all application links point into the Ovi Store - in some cases the developer's own site possibly provides a better starting point.
