Good news from Furtiv, the makers of plug-ins for Nokia's Share Online application. According to their blog, they have passed the 250,000 downloads mark through the Ovi Store, and are now beta testing plug-ins for MySpace, LinkedIn and TwitPic, due to popular demand. More below.

In one of their blog posts, Furtiv added some high-level demographics for their Ovi downloads (source):

Our plug-ins for Facebook, Twitter, Picasa Web Albums, YouTube and Flickr have now been downloaded more than a quarter of a million times from the Ovi Store. We have downloads from 201 countries and 32 different Nokia device models ...

Furtiv are calling for beta testers for their new plug-ins too. They say that the MySpace authentication API is not mobile friendly, and so are keen to get feedback from users of older phones, e.g. S60 3rd Edition FP1 phones. They are also keen to hear from LinkedIn users.

The TwitPic plug-in is also back after being pulled due to change in Twitter's security, and they switched to using TweetPhoto. Many users had requested that TwitPic, the most popular Twitter photo sharing site, be restored to Furtiv.

If you want to add Share Online plug-ins for Facebook, Twitter, Picasa Web Albums, YouTube to your phone, then just search for Furtiv in your Ovi Store application. If you'd like to join in the beta testing of the new plugins, head over to http://furtiv.mobi on your phone's web browser.
