Nokia C5 - classic style candy bar at €135, first Cseries

Today, at CeBIT, Nokia announced the Nokia C5. It is a S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 handset, in a candy bar form factor with a 2.2" screen and a 3.2 megapixel camera. It is the first in Nokia's new Cseries range, which represents the 'core portfolio' range of products, and will ship in the second quarter of 2010 at a price of €135 (about £122) before taxes and subsidies.

  • 12 x 46 x 112mm in dimensions (56cc volume), 89.3g in weight; candy bar form factor with a mix of steel and plastic used in casing materials.
      
  • 2.2 inch screen; 240 x 320 pixels resolution (same as Nokia 5630 and 6700 slide)
     
  • 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash (EDoF system, as in E52 and E55); video recording at VGA resolution and 15 frames per second.
