Steve takes a good look at the latest version of Route 66 Mobile Britain for the N-Gage (and all other Series 60 devices). It's good, it's highly commendable, but it's not quite good enough to be top of the pile.

Over at GearLive they're discussing the add on peripherals that Nokia announced at E3 - while we've not seen review units of these (and it appears GearLive is going on what they saw at E3) they're not convinced that the peripheral's have quite hit the mark.

Xanadu Next, an N-Gage-exclusive 3D third person RPG from legendary Japanese developers Falcom, has now started shipping according to Nokia. It should start appearing in shops worldwide over the next couple of weeks.
Firestorm is here - a graphcally supmtious up the screen scrolling arcade shooter for Series 60. There's a B-Movie plot, a number of big power ups, multiple aircraft to play with... Asion Sky have a winner here!
The man who took the standard BASIC program of Snake and put it on the Nokia 6610 as "Nokia Snake" has recieved a Special Recognition Award at the Mobile Entertainment Forum for destroying the lives of millions of Snake addicts the world over. Congratualtions - now how about a head to head with the original Tetris...

Age of Fantasy is a real time, massive multiplayer online role-playing game. If you're paying data rates by the kilobyte, it might get a bit pricey, but flat rate plans and those with deep pockets should be okay. Running as a Java Midlet, it should be compatible across the majority of Symbian devices. Lots of talking to other players, trading, combat, magic and experience levels - it hits all the traditional RPG spots dead on.
UK Retailer, The Carphone Warehouse, has partnered with Telcogames to launch an MMC collection of Symbian (Series 60) games to sell in-store. The tiles (Sky-Force, Yukkiko, and Marble Revolution) may be well known to AAS readers, but to the wider public this could be the foirst time they see a third party game on their phone.
