We're trying out a new format for the All About Symbian Podcast, which we are provisionally calling "AAS Insight". The idea is to provide the listener with insight into the latest going ons via group conversation podcasts where members of the AAS team (and guests) chat over some of the latest happenings in the Symbian, S60 and UIQ world. Regular listeners can be assured this will be in addition to our interviews and live recording from the various events that AAS attends.

Steve, Ewan and Rafe get together to talk over a variety of topics.

In this podcast we cover:

  • 3's Xseries service on the Nokia N95, and a discussion around using Skype on mobile phones.
  • Outside of Symbian: We're counting the discussion of the 3 Skype phone as this week's Outside of Symbian segment.

  • Software spotlight: SkyeQuiKey, a utility tool for quickly finding contacts and applications from the Idle screen. There's also some discussion of the freeware Light Sabre application and sensors / accelerometers on S60 phones.

Got a question or a topic you would like us to ponder and discuss in the next podcast? Want to be a guest on the show? Got some feedback from us (love it or hate it)? Get in touch and let us know.
