Navigation is rapidly becoming one of the must haves for modern smartphones, in much the same way as the addition of a camera was in the early part of the 21^st century. CoPilot Live (from ALK Technologies) is one of a handful of systems that have come to prominence in the last few years. Their latest version takes a multi-platform approach, so feels similar over a number of platforms, including Symbian OS.

David Quin, their Marketing Director, talked me through the platform at the recent Smartphone Show, the latest version 7, and their plans for the future.
