It’s one of those facts that gets trotted out with regularity now – there are more phones with cameras in the world now than actual cameras. Putting the argument that 'a camera phone is a camera' aside into the box marked 'pedantic', the capabilities of our phones have improved rapidly over the last few years, and if we’re honest, the software to take, view and manipulate images has at times been challenged to keep up with the megapixel images generated by happy snapping.
It’s an area that Scalado have approached with zest, with their bespoke suite of imaging applications on offer to manufacturers and network operators looking for something a little bit different. They've created an image gallery application that uses significantly less operational memory and runs significantly faster S60’s on board Gallery software.
