I was lucky enough to be at the N82 launch. I am not a journalist, but I've tried to put down my thoughts as best I can here:

The phone is exceptionally fast. It boots fast, the camera is fast, menus are fast, downloading is fast (I'm getting HSDPA connections on both Vodafone and Orange) and installation is very fast. I love this handset already

the speed between taking a picture and returning to ready to capture another is the fastest available from any current mobile phone. Ideal for quick snapping celebs and for the moment action.

this is true with preview off. as with n95 8G, same speed.
