Here's Connect Bubbles in action:
The idea is to trace out paths around groups of bubbles of the same colour, as shown here - after each path is made, the bubbles explode and disappear in a puff of smoke, rather nicely, with others falling into place; you're given both a score and time target for each level - meaning that you've got to score well and you've got to be quick.
As you might expect, you get extra score for longer chains of bubbles - shown here is something of an easy gift from the game to me(!) - though I still have 800 points to score in just over a minute - gulp!
There are the usual G Soft help panes and tips; (right) there's a couple of seconds wait between levels and you have to see this ad if you go for the free, ad-supported version. See the links below.
G Soft don't always get the gameplay balance right, but Connect Bubbles feels perfect. The score required rises steadily, with only a little more time allowed, leading to greater concentration and speed being needed. This is a 'casual' game in that it'll be all done within 5 minutes, but you'll get a decent brain, visual and finger workout every time - perfect for a coffee break?
