Gravity gets big (beta) update, more URL preview options

Gravity, everyone's favourite native Symbian, all-purpose social networking master tool, just got itself a big update, reflecting new functions, bug fixes and tweaks for Twitter's new APIs. Changelog and screens below. It's a simple install from within the client for all registered users of Gravity, so give it a try!

Here's the official changelog for beta v2.70 (Build 7206):

  • Facebook Cover Images
  • Save Image Button
  • Previewing SkyDrive, 9gag and more
  • Showing number of retweets for each of your tweets
  • Send Facebook messages from profile
  • Experimental Timeline Streaming over Wi-fi

I run Gravity with Twitter, Facebook and Google Reader, but it also supports Foursquare, YouTube, StatusNet and Sina Weibo.

Here are two of the new features: being able to explicitly save images from social networks to your local gallery; and showing the number of retweets of one of your tweets.

You can update to the latest beta in Gravity by going to the 'Info and updates' pane on the Gravity front page. What do you think? And did you manage to find the experimental 'Timeline streaming'? (I didn't)
