Imsy Messenger for Symbian gets facelift and performance tweaks

Published by at

Imsy Messenger, the cross-platform (Symbian, Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry and feature phones) instant messaging client (and great rival to Whatsapp), has received a fairly big update to its Symbian client. Verison 1.52 includes a facelifted interface and performance upgrades. Screenshots and download link below.

From the Imsy blog:

What's new in this version:

  • Wider chat bubbles, so that more of a message can be seen on screen
  • Unread messages count shown as a badge
  • Bigger user and bot icons
  • New, richer look for Groups - see who's part of a group at one glance
  • Bug fix: some users faced issue with notification sound on Symbian Belle
  • Other UI improvements and performance upgrades across the app

The new upgrade will be available on Nokia Store soon. In the meantime, you can download it directly from our website. So, give it a try and let us know what you think of the changes.

You can also download Imsy Messenger for Symbian here in the Nokia Store. Here's the chat client in action:
