RealFireworks - a novelty (obviously!)

Published by at

Admittedly, I never expected RealFireworks to be much more than a novelty - and indeed it isn't. But it does produce a few gorgeous screen-size photos of world cities lit up at night. So, forgive me, I took the £1 hit on the AAS credit card and set about at least screenshotting this for your interest. Pretty, eh?

The arrows on either side, obviously flick you from city to city - the icons are a bit garish and could be best done as a pale shadow of some kind. The star in the top right exits the application.

Can anyone name the three cities shown here? There are 30 in the application, which is written in Flash, by the way. This probably limits the sophistication of the fireworks animations, which are simple 'shoot into the sky and then starburst'... Something more complex and interesting would have been quite cool. As it is, the fireworks get boring quickly.

As I say, a novelty, as expected. But an attractive one...

RealFireworks is £1 in the Nokia Store.
