Watery creepie-crawlies, underwater magic, from the Nokia 808

Got to love Nokia 808 owners for pushing the video boundaries, embedded below, in this case going ultra-macro with some Egyptian coral creatures and going underwater (inside an Aquapac, of course). Fascinating stuff, a really enjoyable video, complete with authentic sound.

From the PureView Club:

The Italian site Nokioteca.net published some amazing shots and an absolutely fabulous (partly underwater) video shot at the coral reefs of Sharm El Sheikh, in Southern Sinai in Egypt. Both were made with the Nokia 808 PureView, of course, using full HD for the video...

The underwater shots were made using this aquapac, but the writer of the blog (“Oissela”) wasn’t too thrilled about it I notice in the article. And he (or she?) apologizes for the fact that the shots aren’t too steady sometimes, since a tripod wasn’t available. Well, I don’t care they are a bit shaky, I think this video is truly amazing and it showed me a beautiful part of the world I have to admit I never even knew existed at all – and the same goes for some of the sea animals you will see in this video. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did. Don’t forget to choose the highest quality if your connection is fast enough. If you’d like to see more there also is a very nice picture gallery.
