Opera Mini, every mobile fan's reliable standby browser for when the going gets tough, has been updated again, to 'Opera Mini 7 Update 1'. The update is almost entirely bug fixes and optimisations, and takes the browser to version 7.00(30697). See below for screenshot proof and feedback links.

Since Mini 7 release we've received many valuable reports from you, our precious users, which helped us in preparing this update.

So what's new in this version:

• Fixed problem with broken text on web pages
• Fixed network re-connection issues
• Improved scrolling performance on S60 v3.x keypad devices
• Improved file type detection for downloads
• Opera Smart Page language will now always follow browser localization
• Various bug- and stability fixes
