GPS Info Qt has grown over the last year from a simply page of low level statistics into something of a graphical feast for GPS nerds, with the latest (and possibly final) update to v1.4.8, adding extra position-SMS sending options, including picking from your phone contacts and creating a custom text message.
The core of GPS Info Qt is, as ever, displaying the raw position data from your phone's internal GPS, along with graphical interpretations and (not shown here) a mini street map of where you are; the 'here I am' SMS functionality has been extended to include more than one number, with each picked from your phone's Contacts store
The Contacts picking is somewhat barebones and erratically sorted, but it does work (and, before anyone asks, the numbers shown have been mangled!); you can now also compose a custom SMS text message to be sent out from the utility.
