Opera Mini gets a big update, hits the big v7.0

Opera Mini, just about everyone's favourite bandwidth-saving browser, has had a big update, reaching v7.0(29974), from the previous v6.5. Full changelog below, but in summary, there's a new 'Smart Page', giving 'easy access to your social networks and favourite sites', plus new localisations, support for unlimited speed dials, performance improvements and (at long last) version upgrade notification, so you won't need to keep a look out at AAS for future updates.

Opera Mini makes your feature phone smarter! Finally the features that we launched in the Opera Mini Next version back in February are available for real on J2ME (Java phones), BlackBerry and S60. Opera Mini 7 includes the new Smart Page that will give a quick and easy access to your social networks, favorite sites and other popular content. Stay connected on Facebook and Twitter right in the first screen of Opera Mini.
