Nokia has now finally fixed the Maps Suite 2.0 installer available in the Nokia Store - for the last three months, the Store client has been prompting everybody that an update is available (screenshot below), yet, once installed, the same update notification pops up again the next day. And the next. And the next. The installer has been fixed, anyway - go ahead and 'update' one last time - and hopefully you won't be bothered again until there really is an update to the Suite...!

I have to say that I'm still not convinced by the whole 'Suite' idea. Weather and Guides  can obviously be hived off neatly, but Public Transport should easily have been popped up when needed in Maps, and in any case, Maps and Drive would have been better as one application, as they used to be. I suspect the split was to maintain parity between the various functions across different platforms, e.g. Windows Phone, for which there are distinct different licensing issues for Maps and Drive.

Anyway, at least you won't be pestered by erroneous 'Update' notifications any more, which has to be a good thing!
