PC Suite Connected but not functional?

Question:

Q. Why does PC Suite seem to be "Connected" but not let me browse my Nokia's files or use the various Suite utilities?

Answer:

A. This is a problem on some Windows installations. It can easily be fixed by re-registering the Object Linking and Embedding server, to pick up the PC Suite additions to the registry.

On your PC, go to 'Start' 'Run' and enter the following command:

Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll

and click 'OK'. Then restart your PC.
