Inserting special characters on Nokia E61 and E70

Published by Steve Litchfield at 10:36 UTC, October 10th

Q. How can I insert special characters into my text on my Nokia E61 (or E70 for that matter)?

A. The most common special characters can be inserted by pressing the 'Chr' key and selecting the one you want from the pop-up grid.

If there are rarer characters that you need, note that ANY Unicode character can be inserted by simply holding down 'Ctrl' and typing the number of the character concerned - it will appear at the current cursos position.
