Q. How can I turn off the shutter sound on my smartphone's camera?
A. A drastic way to do this is to activate your 'Silent' profile. A cooler and more subtle way is to go into 'Tools | Profiles', select your desired profile (e.g. 'General') and then choose 'Personalize'. Scroll down and turn 'Warning tones' off.
Now try taking a photo. Job done! With warning tones off, some system error messages won't beep at you (they'll still appear on screen), but then that might be a good thing too 8-)
HI Just to give u an update , this does NOT work for the Nokia N91 Based in Ireland/UK .
Maybe this only works in the US?? Can this be confirmed??
Does not work on the Nokia 6290 either.
you can fine some information on google
Nope it cannot, unless you put the phone into silent mode even then the flash still lights up slightly when taking a pic regardless if set to on or off..
yeah I disabled the warning tones. Its pretty annoying when you hear that sound.
